The Peterborough Players will hold its 2008 Annual Meeting at 6:30 PM Saturday, February 16, at the Peterborough Players Theatre, 55 Hadley Road, Peterborough.  The formal purpose of the meeting is to elect trustees for the year 2008 and announce the 2008 season.  While all who have an interest in the Players are invited, voting members of the corporation are considered to be those who made a cash contribution to the company in 2007,  who purchased a subscription in 2007, or who purchased a ticket to a 2007 production.

The evening will begin at 6:30 PM with a reception.  Complimentary hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks will be served.  The Annual Meeting will begin at 7:00 PM.  The entire evening is free of charge.  To reserve a spot, call the Players Box Office at 924-7585.

In addition to voting on new trustees, outgoing trustees Charlie Leutzinger of Wilton, Stu Davidson of Hollis and Van Sherman of Hancock will be recognized for their contributions to the Players. Board President Steven Meyers of Jaffrey will review the 2007 season. Treasurer Jack Lewis of Dublin will present a financial review of 2007, and will explain highlights of the 2008 budget.  Development Chair Richard Hance of Peterborough will discuss the Players 2008 fundraising campaign. Finally, Artistic Director Gus Kaikkonen will announce the 2008 Season.
